First off, congratulations on the deck. You are going to love it.

For what it's worth, Nakamichi used to sell blank tape under their own name brand. Both in metal and chrome formulations. Nakamichi claimed this was the best tape to use on their decks and that is why they sold it.

They actually had TDK produce it for them. The formulation was supposedly slightly different from the "standard" TDK line, but I always found the tapes remarkably similar sounding. ;-)
