I need a preamp and amp on a very limited budget

Using Mozilla/4.05 (Macintosh; I; PPC, Nav):
Hi,
I am interested in purchasing a 2 channel preamp and amp, no tuner, because I never listen to the radio. I am only 17, so my budget is rather small. I dont even know if I would be asking to much for how much I have in my budget. I was hoping I could get an amp that would be like 200 X 2 into 8 ohms. What would this likely set me back along with a preamp? Also, are there any good places on the web where people sell there used equipment?
