differential output amplifier query

Great! The only problem with a subwoofer would be if you were to install it via the speaker level terminals. This method is not the best - however with many subwoofers you do have a basic filtering of the lowest bass for the speakers connected at the output.

Some subwoofers combine the left and right channel ground side - this would be the problem. In your case your amplifier would shut down right away (I hope... better than smoke coming out of it!)
