Merging digital streams

Using Mozilla/4.51 (Macintosh; U; PPC):

I recently took the plunge into CD jukebox territory to manage my large CD collection. I bought two Sony 300 CD changers, which I have connected via a Slinke box to my Macintosh Powerbook running Titletrack Jukebox software, which is an amazingly cool system. The big rub is that while I can easily mix the analog outputs of the two changers into my Lexicon MC-1, I would prefer taking the Toslink (no coax) digital outs and rely on the far superior MC-1 DACs. Does anyone know of an easy way to merge these two digital streams, given that they alternate providing a signal and don’t provide simultaneous signals? Thanks in advance.
