Dear Alan,

I am a regular user (viewer) of this forum..i need help from all the guys here.

I own this HITACHI (model TRK-9140W) stereo component system..which i bought in 1980..its a very old system but its output is just like it used to be 20 yrs back.The system is just 30 watts (RMS)..but it sounds better than my newer 200 watts Denon..

the problem is the tape drive motor died a few days back and no one is ready to fix it..so i am seraching for anyone who has this system and would like to sell it..i wud be ready to buy it and revive my old friend..i dont know if this is the right forum for me but i dont have a clue about where else to search the hitachi owner...wud be greatful if u cud help me out and suggest other ways...
