You may want to check out the California Audio Labs CL-20. It's a combo DVD/CD and Stereophile ranks it Class A for DVD and borderline Class B for audio playback. Classified reference quality. They're about $2500 new, but you can find them used for about $1600. Check out www.calaudio.com
